Are you ready to learn how you can see real results in your small business?

The Situation

The Aksarben Foundation was founded in 1895 by the top business, industry, and civic leaders of the day to address Nebraska’s most pressing needs. The work of the Foundation has evolved over time in response to the changing needs of the state, but the mission has remained constant, as has the caliber and focus of the Board, staff, and volunteers. Aksarben understands the importance of attracting and retaining top talent to the state. Offering competitive benefits is an enticing part of any employer’s compensation package. Over the past five years, the Foundation has undergone a surge of growth and doubled in size. To stay competitive and meet the needs of a growing staff, the Foundation sought my expertise to help assemble a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement savings. After examining their benefits package and HR processes, I felt a full evaluation was warranted and recommended this course of action to Foundation leadership.

The Solution

After providing a detailed assessment and looking through several available possibilities, I was able to recommend the option of collaboration with the Nebraska Association of the Midlands Trust Plan. This pivot resulted in significant cost savings for both the Foundation, its employees, and their families while offering limited disruption during and post-transition

“Jaime at Talent Matters came highly recommended and provided timely and affordable service to get us to the next level. As a not-for-profit organization, we are proud stewards of our work and the donor dollars enabling us to impact all 93 counties of Nebraska annually. Jaime helped us identify an easy, cost-effective solution to our HR and benefit needs.”
